Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Stylist in Toronto. Provide styling advice and drive sales in a flexible part-time retail role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently whilst demonstrating strong product knowledge across all categories
- Actively listen to customers and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand their lifestyle and aesthetic needs
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete looks that incorporate multiple items
- Use creativity to showcase various ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections, storytelling, and deep brand knowledge
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, merchandise arrangement, and POS transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
