The Stylist advises customers on products that suit their aesthetic and lifestyle, helping them express their personal style and incorporate Kate Spade products into their wardrobes. The role combines customer engagement, styling, sales, product knowledge, and store operations, with a flexible part-time schedule that may include nights, weekends, busy seasons, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
- Listen actively and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
- Offer styling advice, suggest add-ons, and create complete looks.
- Use creativity to showcase different ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
- Reinforce and celebrate customers’ choices, encouraging them to return.
- Drive results through strong customer connections and storytelling.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the brand and product attributes across all categories.
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
- Give and receive feedback honestly and constructively.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
- Regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate in a team setting.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency or proficiency in the local language, depending on the market.
