Kate Spade New York seeks a temporary Stylist in Smithfield, North Carolina. Hourly retail position with flexible scheduling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand styling preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks that inspire customers
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products using creativity and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization and accurate POS transactions
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and brand storytelling
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience working in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- Awareness of social media platforms and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Proficiency in English
- Physical capability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom

Experience
Prior experience in a retail sales environment is required. Candidates should demonstrate professional selling abilities and the ability to build effective customer relationships.
