Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand aesthetic preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles through creative merchandising
- Guide customers through the purchase decision process and ensure a seamless, positive checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits and building brand loyalty
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections, storytelling, and deep brand knowledge
- Maintain operational excellence in stockroom organization, inventory management, and point-of-sale transactions
- Give and receive constructive feedback and participate in team collaboration
- Demonstrate proficiency with omni-channel and virtual selling techniques when applicable
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience working in a retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Fluency in English (or local language proficiency as required by market)
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver within sales floor and stockroom environments
Skills
Experience
Prior retail experience required. Experience in luxury or lifestyle fashion retail is preferred. Demonstrated success in customer-facing sales roles with a track record of building customer relationships and achieving sales targets is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education in fashion, retail management, or business is beneficial but not required.

The successful candidate will be located in Santa Clara, California, USA, with easy access to San Jose.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
