Kate Spade is hiring a Stylist (part-time) in Santa Clara, CA — deliver personalised styling and drive sales at Westfield Valley Fair.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers warmly; build rapport to assess style preferences and lifestyle needs.
- Deliver personalised styling advice and build complete looks using Kate Spade assortments across categories.
- Drive sales through storytelling, suggest add-ons, and close transactions while ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge and present multiple ways to wear or use product to inspire repeat purchase.
- Maintain visual and operational standards: organize stockroom, replenish floor, and execute POS transactions accurately.
- Support omni-channel and virtual selling activities and promote brand-led initiatives to foster client retention.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable professional selling skills and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience; experience in styling, personal shopping or fashion advisory is preferred.
- Comfort with omni-channel selling and social media engagement; willingness to learn virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform routine physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
Previous experience in a retail environment is required; candidates with background in styling, personal shopping, or high-touch customer service will be highly competitive.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or credential in fashion, merchandising, or retail is desirable.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
