Kate Spade New York Stylist position in Riverhead, NY. Part-time, temporary retail sales role with flexible scheduling at Tanger Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade New York categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand personal style preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks that encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience via POS transactions
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting them to return and building brand loyalty
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and sales floor presentation
- Demonstrate social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience working in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting
- Strong English proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; capacity to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
