Kate Spade New York Stylist – Temporary part-time retail position in Pismo Beach, California. $15.00–$24.25/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer aesthetic preferences and lifestyle needs
- Provide personalized styling advice, recommend complementary items, and create complete coordinated looks
- Creatively showcase multiple ways to wear and incorporate products into customers' existing wardrobes
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization and accurate POS transactions
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive and professional manner
- Demonstrate willingness to engage with social media awareness and omni/virtual selling techniques
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally) and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and high-traffic retail days as scheduled
