Kate Spade New York Stylist – Temporary, Part-Time position in Petaluma, CA. Serve as a trusted style advisor and drive sales through customer engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and aesthetic preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete looks that incorporate Kate Spade offerings into customers' existing wardrobes
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting them to return
- Drive results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and point-of-sale transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest and constructive manner
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
