Kate Spade (Tapestry) seeks a Part‑time Stylist in Southaven, MS — Temporary Associate role delivering personalised styling, sales and client engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and confidence, demonstrating strong product knowledge across categories.
- Listen actively and ask probing questions to understand customers’ needs and personal style preferences.
- Provide personalised styling advice, assemble complete looks and recommend complementary items to increase basket size.
- Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and use products to inspire customers and drive exploration of the assortment.
- Manage POS transactions and ensure a seamless checkout experience while maintaining operational standards on the sales floor.
- Maintain stockroom organisation, assist with inventory handling and support visual merchandising as directed.
- Support follow‑up and client retention efforts by celebrating customer choices and encouraging repeat visits.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment; experience in fashion or lifestyle retail preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Comfortable with social media and an openness to learn omni‑channel and virtual selling techniques.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail periods and public holidays.
- Able to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required; demonstrated success in customer‑facing sales or styling roles is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; coursework or training in fashion/retail is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Southaven, Mississippi, USA, with easy access to Memphis.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
