Kate Spade Stylist (Temporary) in Ottawa, ON. Part-time retail sales role offering $17.60–$22.00/hr plus benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks that reflect the customer's aesthetic
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products using creativity and encourage customers to explore new styles and possibilities
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, positive checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices to build loyalty and invite repeat visits
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of brand heritage and product attributes across handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, and home décor categories
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English proficiency (French may be preferred per market)
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days
