Kate Spade Stylist Part-Time in Ottawa, Ontario – Provide expert styling advice, drive sales, and create exceptional customer experiences in a vibrant fashion retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest coordinating add-ons, and create complete looks tailored to individual customers
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce customer choices and invite repeat visits through exceptional service
- Drive results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, merchandising, and accurate point-of-sale transactions
- Demonstrate social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Lift merchandise regularly (up to 25 lbs.) and occasionally (up to 50 lbs.); climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail experience demonstrating customer engagement expertise
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Proficiency in English or local market language requirements
