Kate Spade Stylist – Ottawa, Ontario. Temporary part-time retail role providing personalized styling advice and customer engagement at Tanger Outlets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
  • Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer aesthetic preferences and lifestyle needs
  • Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete coordinated looks
  • Use creativity to showcase multiple styling possibilities and encourage customers to explore new products and styles
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless, efficient checkout transactions
  • Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits
  • Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
  • Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS system proficiency
  • Accept and provide honest, constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and busy retail periods to meet business demands

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Prior experience working in a retail environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team setting
  • Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
  • Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays

Experience
