Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Associate/Stylist in Ottawa, Canada to deliver exceptional styling and customer service at Tanger Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles and color combinations
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, positive checkout experience
- Reinforce customer choices and build loyalty by inviting patrons to return
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Demonstrate proficiency with omni-channel and virtual selling techniques as needed
- Participate in team feedback exchanges and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a collaborative team setting
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, high-traffic retail days, and busy seasonal periods
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency per market)
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in a fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brand setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17.60 to USD 22 per hour.
