Kate Spade New York is hiring a Temporary Stylist in Ontario, California. Assist customers with styling and product selection in this flexible part-time retail role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and aesthetic preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks that showcase the brand's lifestyle perspective
- Use creativity to demonstrate multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, inviting them to return to the store
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support team development
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Flexible schedule availability to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
