Kate Spade Stylist Part-Time, Oak Brook, Illinois – Assist customers with styling advice and drive sales through expert consultative service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful questions to understand personal style preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear and style products, encouraging customers to explore new approaches
- Guide customers through the purchase decision process and ensure smooth checkout transactions
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, fostering loyalty and encouraging repeat visits
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS system transactions
- Participate actively in giving and receiving constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Support omni-channel and virtual selling techniques as the business evolves
Qualifications
- Prior professional experience in a retail sales environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities with diverse customer demographics
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team
- Strong English proficiency
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods
- Physical capacity to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrated professional selling skills and strong customer engagement abilities.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
