Stylist position at Kate Spade, Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Michigan. Part-time retail sales role offering $15.00–$19.50/hour and comprehensive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer lifestyle needs and aesthetic preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create cohesive looks that encourage exploration of new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits and building loyalty
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive and professional manner
- Work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior retail sales experience is required. Experience in fashion, accessories, or lifestyle retail is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
