Kate Spade Stylist, North Charleston, SC – Sales Associate role at Tanger Outlets offering $15–$19.50/hr, part-time with retail benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and aesthetic preferences
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary pieces, and create complete coordinated looks
- Employ creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout transactions
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, merchandise presentation, and accurate POS transactions
- Actively participate in team feedback and coaching to support continuous improvement
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, fostering loyalty and repeat visits
- Work flexibly to accommodate business needs including evenings, weekends, holidays, and high-traffic retail periods
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail experience demonstrating customer-facing expertise
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a team setting
- Proficiency in English (local language per market requirements)
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and move freely throughout sales floor and stockroom
- Willingness to learn and embrace omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Social media awareness and digital engagement aptitude

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles with a track record of building customer relationships and driving sales is essential. Experience with seasonal sales peaks and outlet mall retail environments is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail training certifications or customer service courses are a plus but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
