Kate Spade New York, New York – Temporary Stylist. Base pay $15.00–$24.25/hr. Part-time retail sales and styling position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete looks that reflect the customer's personal style
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styling options
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices to encourage repeat visits
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Give and receive constructive feedback in an honest, professional manner
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling including evenings, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods
