Kate Spade New York is hiring a Temporary Stylist in Myrtle Beach, SC. Part-time retail role offering product styling and customer advisory services. $15–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers warmly while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across Kate Spade New York's full range of handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, and home décor
- Actively listen to customer needs and preferences, asking insightful questions to understand lifestyle, aesthetic, and purchasing intent
- Provide expert styling advice and suggest complementary products to create complete looks that align with customer's personal style
- Guide customers through the purchase decision process and ensure seamless checkout experiences using POS systems
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and sales floor presentation
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections, storytelling, and deep brand knowledge
- Work collaboratively with team members and provide constructive feedback in a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
