Kate Spade Stylist position in Milpitas, California. Part-time retail sales role offering styling expertise and customer engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and personal style preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest coordinating add-ons, and create complete looks that express the customer's aesthetic
- Use creativity and brand storytelling to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting them to return
- Drive results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, POS transactions, and visual merchandising standards
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to continuously improve sales performance
- Work flexible retail schedules including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic days such as public holidays
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Strong English proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days
