Temporary Stylist position at Kate Spade, McLean, Virginia. Part-time retail sales associate role at Tyson's Corner location, $15–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and aesthetic preferences
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles and express their personal aesthetic
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, building brand loyalty and encouraging repeat visits
- Drive results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory awareness, and accurate POS transactions
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Lift and maneuver merchandise regularly (up to 25 lbs.) and occasionally up to 50 lbs.; climb, bend, kneel as needed on the sales floor and stockroom
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Background in luxury goods, fashion, or lifestyle brand retail is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
