Kate Spade New York is hiring a Temporary Stylist in Livermore, California. Support customers with styling advice and drive sales with strong product knowledge.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand aesthetic preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear and coordinate products, encouraging customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and brand storytelling
- Maintain deep knowledge of brand heritage, product attributes, and seasonal collections
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and point-of-sale transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, encouraging repeat visits and brand loyalty
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency (or local language proficiency per market)
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
