Kate Spade Stylist Part-Time Position in Leeds, Alabama | Temporary Retail Role
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products through creative storytelling and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences via POS systems
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat patronage
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, merchandise presentation, and inventory management
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive and professional manner
- Demonstrate awareness of social media trends and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail environment experience
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic team setting
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days including holidays
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Strong customer-facing retail background is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; no additional formal education requirements specified.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
