The Stylist at Kate Spade in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, advises customers on products and personal style, creates complete looks, and supports sales through product storytelling and strong customer connections. This is a temporary, part-time role requiring a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, and public holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
• Listen actively and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
• Provide styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create complete looks.
• Show customers multiple ways to wear products and encourage them to explore new styles.
• Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
• Reinforce and celebrate customers’ choices and invite them to return.
• Drive results through strong customer connections and storytelling.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the brand and product attributes across all categories.
• Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and point-of-sale transactions.
• Give and receive feedback honestly and constructively.
• Lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
• Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days, including public holidays.

Qualifications

• Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Prior experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
• English proficiency or proficiency in the local language, depending on the market.
