Temporary Stylist at Kate Spade New York, Hagerstown, Maryland. $15–$19.50/hr, part-time retail role with flexible scheduling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and pose insightful follow-up questions to understand individual customer styling needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and curate complete looks that suit customers' existing wardrobes
- Use creative storytelling to showcase multiple styling options and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, frictionless checkout experience
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and deep brand knowledge
- Maintain operational excellence, including accurate stockroom organization and POS system transactions
- Remain flexible and available to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
- Lift and maneuver merchandise and materials up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail experience required
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively in a team environment
- English proficiency at a professional level
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, and holiday periods
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales and stockroom areas
