Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers warmly while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to inform styling recommendations
- Provide styling advice, suggest coordinated looks, and guide customers through product integration into their existing wardrobes
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and persuasive brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, POS transactions, and inventory management
- Suggest add-ons and create complete looks to enhance the customer shopping experience
- Showcase multiple styling applications and encourage customers to explore new collections
- Reinforce positive customer choices and invite repeat patronage
- Give and receive constructive feedback in a professional manner
- Work flexibly across nights, weekends, and peak retail periods to meet business needs
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, public holidays, and high-traffic retail periods
