Role & Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories including handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, and home décor
• Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and personal style preferences
• Provide styling advice, suggest coordinating add-ons, and create complete looks that showcase how to incorporate Kate Spade products into existing wardrobes
• Use creativity to demonstrate multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
• Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience using POS systems
• Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, fostering brand loyalty and encouraging repeat visits
• Drive results through strong customer connections and brand storytelling that resonates with the Kate Spade lifestyle
• Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, visual merchandising, and inventory management
• Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support continuous improvement
• Demonstrate social media awareness and proficiency with omni-channel and virtual selling techniques

Qualifications

• Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion, accessories, or luxury lifestyle brands
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting
• Strong product knowledge and ability to learn brand attributes across multiple categories quickly
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and peak retail periods such as public holidays and busy seasons
• Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom

Skills

Experience

Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles with a focus on sales and styling is preferred. Familiarity with luxury or premium lifestyle brands is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; further education is not specified as a requirement.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
