Role & Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
• Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand aesthetic preferences and lifestyle requirements
• Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create complete looks that showcase multiple ways to wear products
• Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences via POS systems
• Maintain operational excellence through stockroom organization, inventory awareness, and floor management
• Drive sales results through authentic customer connections, brand storytelling, and product positioning
• Reinforce customer choices and encourage repeat visits through genuine, celebratory interactions
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a retail environment
• Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
• Social media awareness and willingness to adopt omni-channel selling approaches
• Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
• Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, seasonal peaks, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays

Experience

Prior retail experience required. Demonstrated ability to connect with customers, understand their needs, and translate product knowledge into compelling styling recommendations.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
