Kate Spade New York Stylist (Part-Time) in Farmington, CT – $15–$19.50/hr. Assist customers with personalized styling and drive sales through exceptional product knowledge.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently whilst demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customers and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand their aesthetic preferences and lifestyle needs
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks that inspire customers
- Showcase multiple ways to wear Kate Spade products through creative storytelling and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, inviting them to return and build lasting relationships
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and brand storytelling
- Maintain deep knowledge of brand heritage, product attributes, and seasonal collections
- Uphold operational excellence, including stockroom organization, merchandise presentation, and accurate POS transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support team development
- Maintain flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasonal periods, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail experience in a customer-facing environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Fluency in English
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule including evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods
