Kate Spade seeks a Stylist to advise customers on products that suit their aesthetic and lifestyle, help them express personal style, and incorporate Kate Spade products into their wardrobes. The role includes customer styling, sales, product knowledge, POS transactions, and stockroom organization; it is part-time and temporary, with a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge.
- Listen actively and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
- Provide styling advice, suggest add-ons, and create complete looks.
- Showcase creative ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, encouraging them to return.
- Drive results through strong customer connections and storytelling.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of the brand and product attributes across all categories.
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
- Give and receive feedback honestly and constructively.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency or proficiency in the local language, depending on the market.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs., and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
