Temporary Stylist at Kate Spade, Destin, Florida | Part-time retail sales position offering styling guidance and customer engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand styling preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products using creativity and storytelling to encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience using POS systems
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS transaction accuracy
- Demonstrate knowledge of brand heritage and product attributes across handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, and home décor
- Give and receive feedback in an honest and constructive manner to support team performance
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and high-traffic retail periods
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas
