Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer aesthetic preferences and lifestyle needs
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Use creativity to showcase multiple styling approaches and encourage customers to explore new possibilities with Kate Spade products
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences
- Reinforce customer choices and celebrate their selections to encourage repeat visits
- Drive sales through authentic customer connections, storytelling, and demonstration of deep brand knowledge
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory awareness, and POS system transactions
- Give and receive constructive feedback in a professional and collaborative manner
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior retail experience required, with demonstrated success in customer-facing sales roles and ability to build meaningful client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; specific educational qualifications not required.
