Temporary Part-Time Stylist at Kate Spade New York in Costa Mesa, California. $15.00–$24.25/hr with retail sales and styling responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and aesthetic preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks that incorporate products into customers' existing wardrobes
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting them to return
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions
- Demonstrate awareness of social media trends and show willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Perform regular stockroom duties including lifting, climbing, bending, and maneuvering merchandise (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and high-traffic retail days
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
