Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Stylist at Clarksburg Premium Outlets, Maryland. Part-time retail sales role offering $15–$19.50/hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth and confidence while demonstrating extensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand personal style preferences
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary products, and curate complete looks that encourage exploration of new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences
- Maintain operational excellence through stockroom organization, POS transactions, and inventory management
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections, brand storytelling, and compelling product narratives
- Reinforce customer choices and foster loyalty by celebrating purchases and inviting repeat visits
- Work collaboratively with team members and provide constructive feedback
- Demonstrate social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- English language proficiency
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and public holidays as business needs dictate

Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment is required. Experience in luxury retail, fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brands is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Relevant coursework or credentials in fashion, merchandising, or retail management are beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
