Kate Spade New York is hiring a temporary part-time Stylist in Clarksburg, Maryland. Customer-focused retail role with competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating extensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand personal style preferences
- Provide creative styling advice, recommend complementary products, and compose complete coordinated looks
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a smooth, engaging checkout experience
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Showcase multiple styling approaches and encourage customers to explore new styles and product combinations
- Reinforce customer choices and build brand loyalty by inviting repeat visits
Qualifications
- Prior retail experience with proven sales success
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-traffic retail environment
- Strong product knowledge and ability to learn quickly across seasonal collections
- Social media awareness and willingness to develop omnichannel and virtual selling capabilities
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally) and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments

Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment with demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and drive sales through personalized service and product knowledge.
Education
English proficiency required; local language proficiency per market preferred.
