Kate Spade in Chicago seeks a Part-Time Stylist. Join Tapestry's retail team to provide personalised styling and drive sales (part-time).
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, informed customer engagement and personalised styling advice to build client relationships and drive sales.
- Curate complete looks and suggest complementary items to increase basket size and encourage repeat visits.
- Operate the point of sale and ensure a seamless checkout experience while maintaining high standards of cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom: merchandising, replenishment, inventory organization and loss prevention.
- Employ omni-channel and virtual selling techniques, including basic social media engagement, to extend the in-store client experience.
- Demonstrate brand and product expertise across categories and translate product attributes into compelling stories for customers.
- Adhere to physical requirements of the role, including lifting stock (regularly up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs) and performing routine floor tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Previous retail sales experience; boutique or luxury retail experience preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, busy seasons and public holidays as required by retail demand.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency where applicable).

Experience
Previous experience in a retail environment is required; prior experience in boutique or luxury retail preferred. Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and delivering excellent client service.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, fashion or styling training is advantageous.
