Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and lifestyle preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products creatively and encourage customers to explore new styles and aesthetic possibilities
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, elevated checkout experience
- Reinforce customer choices and build brand loyalty by inviting repeat visits
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Demonstrate mastery of brand heritage, product attributes, and seasonal collections across all merchandise categories
- Give and receive constructive feedback in a professional and collaborative manner
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience working in a retail or luxury retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work collaboratively within a team
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Experience in luxury retail, fashion retail, or customer-facing advisory roles is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; however, candidates with demonstrated retail excellence and strong communication skills may be considered.

This position is based in Chesterfield, Missouri, USA, within easy reach of St. Louis.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
