Kate Spade New York seeks a temporary part-time Stylist in Chester, New York. $15.00–$19.25/hr with benefits including medical insurance and paid leave.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and styling preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest coordinating add-ons, and create complete looks
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, inviting them to return and fostering long-term relationships
- Drive results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, merchandise presentation, and accurate POS transactions
- Demonstrate flexibility to work varied retail schedules, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and peak traffic days
- Perform physical tasks including lifting and maneuvering merchandise on the sales floor and stockroom
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience working in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- Strong product knowledge capability and eagerness to learn Kate Spade brand heritage and product attributes
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- Fluency in English or local market language
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally)
- Physical ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom

Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Demonstrated success in customer-facing sales roles, styling, or fashion retail is preferred.
