Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete looks tailored to individual customers
- Utilize creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce customer choices and celebrate purchases, inviting patrons to return
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain deep knowledge of the brand and product attributes across handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, home décor, and accessories
- Ensure operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support continuous improvement
- Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holiday periods, and high-traffic retail days
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
