Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Stylist to serve as a trusted advisor assisting customers in selecting products aligned with their aesthetic and lifestyle. This role involves engaging guests with strong product knowledge, offering styling advice, and creating complete looks while maintaining operational excellence in a high-traffic retail environment at Phoenix Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and demonstrate strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Listen actively and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer styling needs and preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks that reflect customer aesthetics
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles through creative presentation
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experience
- Maintain stockroom organization and execute POS transactions with accuracy
- Drive results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Give and receive feedback constructively to support continuous team improvement
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Fluency in English
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days

Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and drive sales through consultative selling.
