Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and establish rapport; assess needs through active listening and insightful questions.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks that integrate Kate Spade products across categories.
- Drive sales through storytelling, product knowledge and suggestive selling of add-ons and complementary items.
- Operate POS and ensure a seamless checkout experience while maintaining transactional accuracy.
- Maintain operational excellence: organise the sales floor and stockroom, assist with inventory and merchandising.
- Demonstrate multiple ways to wear and style product to inspire customer exploration and repeat visits.
- Provide and accept constructive feedback; collaborate with the team to meet store targets.
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays; perform light to moderate physical tasks (lifting, bending, climbing).
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel / virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs (occasional lifts up to 50 lbs) and perform routine physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
