Kate Spade seeks a Temporary Stylist in Auburn Hills, Michigan—greet guests, provide styling advice, and drive sales through authentic brand storytelling and exceptional customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to inform styling recommendations
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles through creative presentation
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, welcoming checkout experience
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate point-of-sale transactions
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices to build brand loyalty and encourage repeat visits
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a retail environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- Strong product knowledge and ability to communicate brand heritage and design philosophy
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
- Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom
- Willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
