Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Stylist at The Outlet Collection Seattle. Part-time retail sales role offering $15–$19.50/hr and comprehensive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary items, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear and style products to encourage customers to explore new aesthetic directions
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Drive results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting them to return
- Work flexibly to accommodate nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English proficiency
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and high-traffic retail days
