Kate Spade New York Stylist position in Arvin, California. Temporary part-time role ($15–$19.50/hr) assisting customers with styling and product selection.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest product add-ons, and create complete looks tailored to each customer
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products using creativity and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting them to return
- Drive results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and point-of-sale transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to accommodate business needs, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment is required. Experience in fashion retail or luxury goods is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
