Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and lifestyle preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete coordinated looks
- Use creativity to showcase multiple styling options and encourage customers to explore new styles and product combinations
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, inviting them to return and building lasting relationships
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain deep knowledge of brand heritage, product attributes, and design philosophy across all merchandise categories
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support continuous improvement
- Demonstrate social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days
- Lift and maneuver merchandise and displays regularly (up to 25 lbs.), with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail or luxury retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting
- Strong product knowledge and demonstrated passion for fashion and lifestyle curation
- Ability to build rapport with diverse customer demographics
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Experience in luxury or fashion retail, customer styling, or personal shopping is highly valued. Familiarity with omni-channel retail practices and digital tools is a plus.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is expected. Additional training in fashion, styling, or retail management is beneficial but not required.

The successful candidate will be located in Arvin, California, USA, with easy access to Bakersfield.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
