Kate Spade — Seasonal Stylist (part-time) in Arvin, CA. Client-facing retail role at Outlets at Tejon delivering styling, sales and omni-channel support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests with warmth and confidence, demonstrating thorough product knowledge across categories.
- Conduct consultative styling conversations to discover customer needs and create complete looks that incorporate Kate Spade product.
- Drive sales through storytelling, add-on recommendations and building lasting customer relationships.
- Execute seamless POS transactions and ensure operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom (merchandise receipt, organization, and replenishment).
- Utilize creativity to demonstrate multiple ways to wear and style product and encourage customers to explore new looks.
- Support omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including social media engagement and remote clienteling as required.
- Maintain flexibility to work nights, weekends, high-traffic days and public holidays; perform routine physical tasks including lifting merchandise up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with strong interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably within fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brands.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Comfort with omni-channel retail practices and willingness to learn virtual selling techniques and social media tools.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and holidays.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail selling experience is required; candidates should demonstrate a history of consultative customer engagement, styling or visual merchandising within a fashion or accessories environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or certificate in fashion, merchandising or retail is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Arvin, California, USA, with easy access to Bakersfield.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
