Temporary part-time Stylist role at Kate Spade New York, Allen Premium Outlets. Provide personalized styling and drive retail sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand aesthetic preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks tailored to individual customers
- Showcase multiple ways to style and wear products, encouraging customers to explore new styles with creativity and confidence
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, positive checkout experience
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections, brand storytelling, and product narrative
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory awareness, and accurate POS transactions
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, building loyalty and inviting repeat visits
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner with team members and management
- Comply with flexible scheduling requirements including nights, weekends, and high-traffic retail days
- Maintain ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally while navigating the sales floor and stockroom
Qualifications
- Prior retail experience required
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong product knowledge and ability to articulate brand positioning
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Awareness of social media trends and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Fluency in English
- Physical capability to lift 25–50 lbs, climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment demonstrating professional selling skills and customer service excellence.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal post-secondary education required.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Allen, Texas, USA, with easy access to Dallas.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
