Kate Spade New York Temporary Stylist position in Allen, Texas—provide expert styling and sales guidance to customers in a premium outlet environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade collections
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles and collections
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience via POS systems
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, building rapport and encouraging repeat visits
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections, authentic engagement, and brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, product merchandising, and inventory management
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive manner to support continuous improvement
- Work flexibly across nights, weekends, seasonal peaks, and high-traffic retail days to meet business needs
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Willingness to work flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Demonstrated competencies in Customer Focus, Interpersonal Savvy, and Drive for Results
