Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently whilst demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand aesthetic preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide styling advice, suggest coordinating pieces, and create complete looks that encourage exploration of new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices whilst inviting repeat visits and building brand loyalty
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Give and receive constructive feedback in a professional, collaborative manner
- Demonstrate awareness of social media and express willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail environment with demonstrated sales success
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Professional selling skills with the ability to read customer needs and adapt communication style
- Capacity to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom environments
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or luxury goods retail. Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships, provide consultative selling, and drive results through customer-focused engagement.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
