Kate Spade hiring Part-time Stylist in Santa Clara, CA (Westfield Valley Fair) to provide styling, client advising and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, build rapport and deliver personalised styling advice to create complete looks that align with customers’ tastes and lifestyles.
- Present product knowledge across categories, suggest complementary items and drive add-on sales through storytelling and visual merchandising.
- Execute smooth point-of-sale transactions and ensure operational excellence including stockroom organisation, visual presentation and accurate inventory handling.
- Adopt omni-channel selling practices including virtual selling and social media engagement to convert and retain customers.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to cover nights, weekends, peak retail days and holidays; perform regular physical tasks such as lifting merchandise and managing the sales floor.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional selling skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior retail experience, preferably in fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel/virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency for the market) and capability to work a flexible schedule.
- Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
Previous experience in a retail environment is required; demonstrated success in sales, styling or client-facing fashion roles is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, fashion or cosmetology coursework preferred but not required.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
